Musee D'Orsay Photo Diary
Located along the left bank of the Seine River and housed in the former Gare D'Orsay railway station, Musee D'Orsay houses the largest collection of impressionist masterpieces in the world and is a must-see for any trip to Paris. Purchase your tickets ahead of time - only $15 - and head over first thing in the morning to miss the lines.
While the art is stunning, some of my favorite pieces were the architectural models of Charles Garnier's Paris Opera House, the Palais Garnier. There are three cafes within the museum so take your time and enjoy breakfast or lunch as you wander.
