Infinity Mirrors at The High Museum of Art
I was so excited to get to go see Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrors exhibition at Atlanta’s High Museum of Art last night! I had bought tickets months ago and had been anxiously awaiting my turn ever since. The show did not disappoint! This was one of the most fun art exhibitions I have been to (and having been an art major and working at a museum for three years, I’ve been to a few!).
Kusama, an 89 year-old Japanese artist still working in Tokyo, has focused on the past 60 years of her work on the creation of these mirrored rooms. We got to experience six of these rooms along with many of her paintings, sculptures, and a large scale installation.
Advance tickets are completely sold out, but you can still have a chance to purchase walk up tickets each day before the museum opens.
